White Wine Garlic Butter Bucatini

  1. Clarify the onions in 1 T oil and the butter, then add the garlic and continue until fragrant. Add the Italian seasoning and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  2. Add in the white wine and simmer to remove the alcohol, then add the cream, bring to a high simmer, reduce to a low simmer, then add the pasta water. Continue simmering until the sauce thickens.
  3. Remove from heat, then add the cheese, parsley and red pepper flakes. Mix in the pasta and let rest so that the sauce will stick to the pasta.
